Raspberry Pi – Remove Wolfram and reclaim some space!

Every time I put together a new Raspberry Pi system, one of the first things I do is delete the Wolfram Engine package. Unless you are into the math stuff that Wolfram provides, it is just a waste of space.

To remove the Wolfram package via the apt tool, simply execute the following at the terminal:

sudo apt-get purge wolfram-engine

Removing the Wolfram Engine package will save ~460 MB of space on your SD card.
